What Others Say
Oh wow !! Since I’ve put my own personality & interpretation into my
belly dancing & choreographies, I’ve had so many compliments from more
experienced dancers than myself. As far as DVDs and videos are
concerned I think they are the best and most user friendly ones I've
ever come across (I've bought about 12 others through the years).
Thank you Leyla, I couldn’t have done it without you & the BDV training !!
Love & hugs, Tania xxx
I feel very honored and I am thankful that I have crossed
paths with Leyla & Dan.. Leyla’s instruction is very easy to understand but
also very unique! Even though I have been dancing for many years she never
stops amazing me with combinations and moves that I have never done.
Allison Flynn, Ohio
This is not your "everyday" same
ole style of teaching/instruction, not the same moves taught over and
over. The clarity of instruction is outstanding. Leyla breaks down move
with all 4 sides demonstrated with each drill broken down clearly and in
detail. If you’re a beginner you will love the introduction to new
steps. intermediate dancer learn new combinations and build core
strength and strengthen your legs and quads.
Angela Dickson, Georgia
I am going to learn Leyla's style & combinations I
have to say I really love them. I think combinations are very good
because I really can learn to use different directions natural way. At
the beginning it was little confusing but not anymore. I have to focus
what I am doing but I think its going to more and more easier when you
practice enough. I really love the soft combinations
have been dancing since 1993 and over the years, I have studied with
many dancers and
I have purchased many videos. After all
the wasted money spent on worthless videos that promise to teach how to
break down the moves and then use them in choreography.
Until now, I had
given up hope of finding such a thing.".............
Belly Dance curriculum
comes from a variety of reasons, experiences and frustrations that grow within
each of us.
After about 15 years of dancing I was at a point where I felt I was in a no woman’s land that seemed as desolate as I was feeling about my dancing.
I was dancing so much that I somehow became lost in the dance. I wasn’t in control and I felt like I was a dry reservoir of emptiness. It was in this place of consternation that I was able to take a look at my dancing and see myself as a dancer.
There are over 30 different titles in the Hip Phylosophy library with
DVDs for beginning, beginning-intermediate and performing professionals
and because there isn't a middleman I am able to offer all individual
titles for just $19.95
As you become more comfortable with the way your body
responds to music and some of the different belly dancing moves and
combinations, you'll naturally begin to think about (and want) to
put them together in a choreography of your own.
