Love it Love it Love it. It is so awesome that it was made just for me. I really like the amount of repetition and I like how Leyla does things facing front, side, and back. Yeah!!! I love that the first 2 combos (haven’t watched the whole thing yet) involve ami’s. I know how to do them but I rarely use them. (Not sure why). Now I get to really practice and use them.
Leyla , I really liked this video. I could feel the muscles being worked. I like how you broke it down and so that someone who has never belly danced before can follow along and actually learn the moves….Deanna
I just wanted to “thank” for de DVD and CD I just received yesterday.I love them! Leylas DVD is wonderful. Easy to understand and follow., since my english is not too good. The music CD is of great help for practising. I have already already started using them.. 🙂
I’m 23 and have wanted to learn how to belly dance for years. Unfortunately here are no classes in my area. I have tried many times to learn with DVDs as well as online videos and have never had any success until I came across your site. I’m finally understanding!!! the way you break down the movements and the details you go into are amazing and exactly what a beginner needs…I am so happy I came across this. cant wait for the next video!
Hey Leyla! I am SO happy I found your website!!! I used to have a problem with back pain but since I started your lessons, it’s gone way down! When I have back pain I practice dancing & it goes away! It’s also helped with my posture & helped me lose weight which has helped with my confidence!! Ari Feb 9, 2012 I am doing pretty good and have pretty much everything down, except I am having some trouble with doing chest circles. I can do them to the left but going to the right is difficult for me for some reason. Any ideas on how I can help make that easier? Thank you so much Leyla! <3

Very detailed and specific instructions.I’ve viewed a few beginning videos and you were the only one who gave specifics for how to hold arms-fingers, and pelvis. Most just tell you to slightly bend knees and hold arms out. Great instructing
