This 58 minute Belly Dance Video explains and demonstrates 3 Finger Cymbal patterns. Including the "Langa", "Accent" and one called "The Jeanette Benedon. Each pattern is accompanied by close ups ups of my hands so you can see exactly how each is done along with a short two minute performance at the conclusion of the video. Finger Cymbals can add another dimension and layer to your dancing and performance that can wake up, excite your audience and get the room clapping - they can get your audience actively engaged in your performance. To illustrate this point as we were preparing to shoot this DVD Dan and I were in the studio and as I was warming up a bit I started playing my finger cymbals and suddenly, without warning, I looked up and Dan had instantly gone from camera set up to dancing.

I have been dancing since at least 2003/2004 and even though I became part of our Belly Dance Performance group and was brought up to the intermediate class we did not work on combinations like Leyla teaches. Allison |
